HELL TO THE NO

I'm sorry but you cannot simply betray someone's trust, destroy their life in such a way that they have to abandon their home, their life and even their name for the sake of having a normal life and just come back like nothing happened. She even lost her job, she was and felt USED, so yes big FUCKING surprise that she became cold and distant. True, he struggled after he went to Africa and almost died, but she lost so much for his decision to continue pursuing the article when in the other hand it wasn't her fault what happened to him. He should have pulled off the moment he fell in love with her, it was a simple decision and his whole "anything for the pursue of true" policy is just messed up, his cause was not noble as he made it out to be, he was looking for mere gossip. Of course the newspaper wasn't going to take out the article, that's how they make money, it was up to him to keep it from being published. He had first one chance not to search in her roommate's things, and another to not submit the article, he took none. Worst of all he was trying to make her submit by blackmailing her saying he'd tell the court her child was endangered because she left him with others when 1) is called babysitting, people have been taking advantage of it for years 2) he was making her work overtime which kept her from going to her child

I agree completely.. and he slaps her! I hate when they have the female start feeling like she's wronged HIM in situations like this. this was just a frustrating story.

Thank you! There is something about these kinds of stories that pisses me off. It's like the authors expect us to understand the male perspective and accept it, but the guys can get away with being insensitive jerks

Please don't assume that it is "the male perspective" to be a psychopath and then act as though one is on the moral high ground. It is "a male's perspective." Some of us XY chromazome types actually live a somewhat examined life and have a conscience and some degree of empathy.
