Japanese would be harder, alphabetical wise since there's a shit ton of it, but then Thai's ain't easy either if you're not used to style of the alphabets. I do think it'll be a lot better to invest in one language at a time, with dedication to it, get familiar with the language through hearing and seeing as you learn its linguistuc structures.
