because what makes you think he won't eventually hurt mc if we know that he is very capable of violence? anger issues and violence are rarely under such control and rarely ever exclude intimate partners. in fact they often ends up being worse to intimate partners. if mc makes a mistake, it could cost him his own fingers or worse...
