Yeah, he's not the nicest for saying that he didn't give consent for the marking, which is true, but he didn't rape YeJun during his rut. YeJun had always been a beta/or some ppl argue he's always been a hyper recessive omega/ and was never susceptible to Ian's pheromones (or any pheromones in general) but then either Ian's rutting pheromones is so strong that it turned on his omega genes/ that he became able to detect pheromone and thus became affected. Ian was high ASF on pheromones and sex hormones he wasn't even in his right mind and didn't even know who it was who had came, or at least, that's what he said. Anyways, since he is in rut he's high on sex pheromones and YeJun just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. So that time it was neither of their fault.
So that time Ian did not rape him. Only when he came in search of YeJun then he did. Because both were sober and he did it intentionally. He wasn't in rut.

It's a shame, I loved the other two manhwas of this mangaka, and they are so original and beautiful and cute, and then this story comes to hunt our dreams and put as through an emotional hurdle xD
I'm still gonna read it, but not expecting much out of this jerk alpha...
