If you remember... those memory bits did include Jesse asking 'is this real?'? So, is it not entirely possible that they've gone through this before... just like the manga said...?
And, no, I don't believe Law ever loved Jesse.
It's looking more and more like Law really does love Jesse.
What's bothering me now is Law's mother is starting to become a serious threat; now I have to wonder, if something really did happen to Jesse's family, is Law's family responsible? Only time will tell!
I'm becoming less convinced, actually. The whole 'unreliable narrator' thing and all that. Also, it almost seems to me as if Law's mom gave him something in that drink that tasted like cigarette butts. I wonder if it interfered with something she had done to him long before?

From what I'm interpreting, they both have loved each other at one point or another; whether that feeling was reciprocated simultaneously is another matter that I'm currently questioning. I have an awful feeling this story ends on a negative note! -_-
A few chapters before-hand, when they were on the balcony in <Moritat>, and when Jesse was waking up from it, there were memory bits that made it seem as though Jesse put Law up to it and wouldn't let him talk him out of it. But then, when Law shows up to see Jesse, and asks him why he thinks he did all those things to him, it kind of threw me off because then what were those memories Jesse was seeing? Were they "edited" memories or were they real? Does Law really love Jesse, or does he love the attention he gets from being favored by Jesse? SOO MANY QUESTIONS AND I NEED ANSWERS. This manga has blown my mind. That plot twist!
