and about the heirloom thing, in the ch 26 Ruediger said that Winterwald have an anchestor goblet that grant wish. this goblet is exclusive for the heir of the family.
It's lightly suggested that he traveled back in time (likely from the family heirloom). That's why he's able to navigate the current world with an adult mind.

he did it in hope right the things that happened. he suffered too much and too many sacrifices were spent during his journey. it was implied that although he succeeded in the winter war, there were no people left for him to celebrate it with cos all hos loved ones were dead (like rudy and judy) so he spent the last remaining magic in the cup to turn back time and hopefully prevent the events that happened so that this new future will have a better ending.
i need spoiilers abt the kidd, so does he remember things from the past or? just completely changed out of nowhereeee
