Imprinting. Because of an imprint that was established during world 1. His having an unhealthy obsession with Aelock. See when his eyes are purple, thatās imprinting, if you revisit season 1.
When Klopp killed the bottom dwellers, his eyes were purpleā¦ Imprinting changes your personalityā¦ it magnifies negative emotions, you even hallucinate because of it.
I knowā¦ I really wanted Aelock to find someone else. His too good for Klopp. Spoilers below.
But the imprinting really screwed them both. Klopp is already imprinted on Aelock because of world 1. The problem with imprinting is if youāre away from your omega, it causes you to become violent, season 1 basically. Klopp later on couldnāt understand his need to vent out his frustration, he would beat up people from the bottom place. If he had married Rapiel, he would might have ended up hurting Rapiel or Aelock. Because in Kloppās return (arc 3) he suffers from the side effects of imprinting that almost resulted in killing the Aelock of that world. Itās a really scary thing, imprinting.
Aelock could survive without Klopp, but Klopp wouldnāt. As much as there is love. There is a need to survive. Klopp of the 2nd arc, who found out about this, coerces Aelock into a relationship and immediately wanted a baby with him. Itās fricking selfish, he should have at least courted Aelock. But I guess he was hoping that in this lifeā¦ he could be with the kids, so he agreed. He did wanted six kidsā¦ and this was that opportunity to be with them.
In Kloppās return, he reveals the imprinting to Aelock. Seeing that Kloppās weird crazy antics making sense. He stayed because he genuinely loves and cares for him, but at the same time he was scared Klopp might kill himself again. He felt guilty about it.
That was well said. I know they're happy now. When I first read the novel I was flabbergasted like my god how can you love someone who abused you for years. I know Aelock isn't in the right, some might say he's atoning for his sins or it's his karma for basically killing Rafiel but damn. I knew it was inevitable from them to end up again in the second or third regression but I feel like Klopp didn't show a significant change. His vulgar language made me hella uncomfortable like this is how you see Aelock as a prize needed to be won or some ornament for his Manor. And the fact that he only dated Rapirl cause he resembles the count is crazy~ But I can't complain there's probably worse Seme's in other novels. But it wasn't bad I wouldn't say I enjoyed reading their sweet moments. I just thought it was going to go into another direction like Aelock would move on without Klopp making him relapse.
Itās not mentioned in book 1/season 1, itās something youāll get to learn as you read the following novel, vol 2 onwards. You wonāt catch it on your first time reading, because itās not obviously pointed out, because Klopp couldnāt figure out why he has this strange fascination with Aelock. Until he took notice that his hatred for Aelock was growing, but at the same time, his craving for him was also growing. So, youāll connect the dots with Klopp as he makes sense of this unhealthy obsession.
And the more you read the novel, even the side stories have bits explaining about the how imprinting can affect the relationship of an alpha and omega, youāll piece it together, so thatās why Klopp was so violent, why Klopp has to be always around Aelock, why Kloppās personality changed and so this is the reason why the imprinting was established between them (this one is rather ironicā¦ and sad)
This doesnāt affect omegas that much, they can survive without their alphaās. And they have more power in the relationship, if they choose to abuse it. (But Aelockās too decent to do it.)
But I noticed that both can sense when one is in danger, itās a connection. Even in season 1, each time Aelockās tries to kill himself or is in danger, Klopp always finds him. The imprinting it was warning him. Itās a very interesting story actually if you take the time to read it. Even Aelockās mutation did come to light in other volumes.
Hope this helps (ą¹ā¢ć

Iām speculating but Aelock might have just weighed the pros of the relationship, but itās hard to say it during at the beginning, because his scared of Klopp. He doesnāt fight Klopp, which couldnāt be helped, the years of abuse did so much damaged. It canāt simply be undone... He does regain some of that confidence thanks to Klopp and the rest of his family support system.
As for Klopp, he really was an asshole from the start, thatās his nature. It was really a disappointment, I was thinking maybe his just twisted because of the tragedy. But no, his just really cruel as much as the imprint affects the mind. Youāre not completely without rationale. We saw him fight it. Itās a tough fight, but he was able to overcome it. He is also selfish as well, he tried marrying Rapiel for his own comfort of mind. That maybe by marrying Rapiel, heāll be able to end his desires for Aelock (well book 1 was a proof it didnāt work.) It was unfair for Rapiel, who treated him like a good friend.
I hate how he treated Aelock from the start, he was so rude, and when Aelock turned out to be an omega he became forceful. His line āI want to thank the Godsā made me cringe. Like wow, what a piece of garbage. I know he makes up for it and works hard, when he saw that Aelock was anxious and has deep trauma. But I guess itās Klopp growing as a character, itās not a lot, but itās a start.
The journey afterwards was beautiful so I donāt have any complaints, all three arcs was good. Itās not a happy ending but you can feel them growing and becoming happy in their respective parallel universe.
Itās a thing in a lot of aob, but itās not as complicated as ITRG. They usually explore it as a bond, that makes you unable to find a different partner, like youāre just with one another. You canāt be too far from your partner etc. Love is an illusion is a good example of imprinting, I remember that both main characters were feeling tired when the uke ran away. Instant family also has the same case, the alpha felt sick being when he tried having sex with a different omega. Itās different every story, but ITRG made it a lot complicated and scary. How the imprint was established between Klopp and Aelock was sad and ironicā¦
In ITRG universe imprinting is a study that was observed between old people, who lost their partners. Itās seen on widowed alphaās who spent a lifetime with one omega. How the loss of their partners affects themā¦ some commit suicide. The imprinting driving them insane.
It rarely happens to someone young, like Klopp and Aelock. The span of the relationship between them was a decade or less.
Kloppās revenge was to have a kid with Aelock, right? There is this phenomenon when a pregnant omega wants to ensure the protection of their alpha. This is probably the case between Aelock and Klopp. Iām still waiting for the translation to understand this part better, but this is the gist of what I understood.
So basically the revenge became a double edged sword, it screwed them both. It kills Aelock. Klopp spent his lifetime slowly going insane, tormented by the imprinting he unknowingly created.
How Winter wrote the omegaverse lore was really scaryā¦ but brilliant. I thought I was reading how love can destroy people, but the rest of pieces that made that tragedy was mind boggling
"He did wanted six kidsā¦ and this was that opportunity to be with them." This bastard wanted to kill Arok again? For anyone, especially an omega man, having so many offspring is death, as happened with the first Arok.
The truth is that the first Arok's mistake was falling in love with that scoundrel and to make matters worse, acting on those feelings.
Klopp is against having six kids knowing that it can kill Aelock, he wanted at most three kids. Itās Aelock who wants six kids, he really wants this chance to be with them. Itās heartbreakingā¦
Aelock really did fall in love with a monsterā¦ itās really sad especially reading his pov on vol 5. In Kloppās return, the Aelock of that world is the confident and arrogant noble. He was genuinely looking for true love to share a life together, something like his parents. But couldnāt connect with anyone. His heart was so pureā¦ that it frustrates me that he has fallen so far because of a worthless love.
This is very sad.
I'm telling you that at the beginning of the manhwa I didn't have that much sympathy for Arok, since Arok was out of jealousy, for not accepting that for whatever reason the brown-haired guy was, homophobia? Kloff did not accept that they could pair up and be Alpha-alpha. Raphael was a sweet and innocent being and did not deserve someone to attack him. At that moment Arok was terrible.
But man, everything he experienced on the streets and when he was in that cabin. Really, the bastard Kloff didn't suffer enough, that heart as rotten and black as coal.
I'm curious, I heard that in the third line Arok doesn't remember that bastard at all (How cool!) but he's also an omega like in the second life?
