But didn't Aeroc love Cloff in the previous round? Why is he hostile towards him now? Does he hate him after how he tortured and abused him?
This is spoiler but, Klopp is hostile because of the imprinting. His experiencing an unhealthy obsession over Aelock, so everything about Aelock bothers him.
Just now that this not the same Klopp as vol 1, he doesn’t have any memories nor any involvement. It’s just that the imprinting was established in world 1 is affecting him. It affects your personality. Klopp is already an asshole, you can see it in his thought process, it’s just it’s intensified by the imprint.
Can we not blame the years of torture to the imprinting. To me, Klopp is major red flag before the imprinting. Arrogant, petty, coward, self-centered, prejudiced yet inferiority complex.
The imprint was really only the second culprit of why everything became fuck up. It made the torture worst. But the main culprit was really Klopp, he hated his attraction to Aelock, so he devised his revenge that wasn’t meant for justice, just to finally do what he wanted… without feeling the consequences, because Aelock screwed up, so he can play God with him.
I wish Aelock saw Klopp for the trash he was… but unfortunately he was blinded by his love for him. He let himself be degraded and destroyed. He deserves better than Klopp honestly.
bc he remembers that's why aeroc tries to avoid clough now. it's just aeroc playing cool, but actually he's scared af. he doesn't want anything in the first timeline happens again, so he's doing his best to not have any business with clough

I would say the imprinting magnifies the worst parts of Klopp. He's arrogant, petty, coward, self-centered dude.

Yes, Aelock will eventually warm up to Klopp, but this takes a long journey. Because after Klopp’s long denial, he will eventually realize and accept his attraction to Aelock. He will pursue him despite Aelock’s rejecting him at first and avoidance, Klopp will try to find ways.
The journey really did some time, it didn’t end with them starting a relationship and so on. Because Aelock always left this room for doubt, under the impression that Klopp is just staying because of an imprint and other reasons. But Klopp seeing that his partner has some issues and anxiety about the relationship, really works hard to make this all work (not because of the imprinting, but because he does really love Aelock. It was love at first sight, but pride...)
What started bad became a good journey for both Aelock and Klopp. Aelock is slowly healing, he learns that he can be happy and loved. Klopp learns that he was crappy from the start but if he seriously wants Aelock, he needs to fix himself, and as much as his still selfish, it’s not just about him anymore.. his partners happiness is just as important.
It did magnify the worst parts. I was extremely disappointed when I read things in his perspective, his whole personality was garbage unfortunately.

Me too. In the third life, Klopp knew what he wanted and the mistakes from world 1. This Aelock doesn’t know, he tested the waters many times to see if Aelock was pretending, but he wasn’t. Aelock had to call him out so many times for his bs to sink in.
His lucky that despite the shit show. Aelock falls for him… I know that Klopp will treasure this Aelock, I mean he already lost him before, he won’t repeat that mistake. But I wish we have more side stories of this third world, I want to see more change. Being a good husband and father is just a part of the responsibility as a partner, but I hope the realization of his mistakes from world 1 humbles him and makes him a better man.
To me, he's self-centered to the core, even in the third life. I just pray that one day Korean authors grow some balls to change the unredeemable top for a change.
