I'm so confused, what's going on, nothing makes sense

I don't get the plot either, it's looks stupid

It’s basically where the fl and her brother were originally blood of the empire and after they both got overthrown and brother gotten killed, she went into hiding. then when she was hiding, she met the ml, and her goal is to stay alive for a proper grave for her brother, because the monarchy now wants her dead since she’s the last blood of the empire. now to stay alive she married ml and she has to bear him a child.
