lmao tge way some of yall act like just because he said sorry yahwi should be forgiven

yall forget how bad this guy treated jooin, he hooked up with him and left him there alone with money on the table???? like some whore??
he literally assaulted him sexually and physically, he didnt even try to help him when rumors spread about them, he jusg left him alone to deal with it all. even in his apology hes constantly like me me me feel bad for ME but never even considers how all that made jooin feel, never respects his decisions either.

and then blame jooin himself for not wanting that back??? because hes quite literally emotionally traumatized by the guy and wants nothing to do with him anymore and thats okay. thats self care lol

You put everything I feel about him into words… like people just casually forget how shitty he treated him for so long, how he literally slapped him across the face, raped him, didn’t help out at all with him and school and some people just forgive all that when he apologizes?!? His apology is literally not even sincere he’s just upset someone that was following him around and the only person who really loved him is abandoning him. Like I just saw on twitter someone said Yahwi is the most selfless character in the manhwa and I laughed cuz he is deadass the most selfish character ever like nothing he does will make up for the past and I’m really glad that Jooin is actually acknowledging that he treated him like shit and is not currently forgiving him cuz so many other characters don’t do that and immediately forgive

I feel like there's so many similar situations to Yahwi's. I dont wanna bring up other manhwas but lets give an example: Jiwon was so hated for being cruel to DG. However, as time passed, people began to like him, forgiving his wrong doings to some extent.
What Yahwi did is unacceptable and he clearly knows that himself. He admits his faults and takes accountability for them. And I think that's why people like him.
    - PS: I hope you don't take my message as a disrespect to what you said. I am definitely not trying to pick a fight, so I hope you don't take my comment badly :)

i understand your point and of course, realizing your wrongdoings is the first step to becoming the better person!! his situation is a little complicated because he sure has his reasons to turn out to be a person like that.
however what i dont like here is people who try to paint him as some martyr, and jooin as the bad guy who lead him on and treated him bad, almost forgetting all the shit ge had done to make jooin reject him. his arc should be perfectly fine with him moving on and finding someone to grow together with, because with someone completely new i could see him being a really great guy!!

i also kinda never really liked how jiwon treated dg either he might have even been worse to him than yahwi was to jooin and dg forgave him really easily. but most people are much more accepting to forgive a guy like that when the story doesnt give tgem a better alternative and it just revolves around those 2 people. i honestly think if this was only about yahwi and jooin this story would be much less controversial and just like any other bls on the platform.

You can't really bring up other series when the writing is very different, of course there's similarities but we can't solely base it on other series.

I never read BJ Alex but I do know one thing, many thought his development was lackluster. Obviously here I think it was better for Yahwi and the closure was better than most but you have to take in that Yahwi development came at last minute. Very late and he was still selfish after realizing his faults that why many still dislike him. He wanted to make Jooin his, uses his backstory to get Jooin notice him, to pity him. He wished Cain would hurt Jooin so Jooin would look his way and want him instead. Even in the last two chapters (93/94) he still said he wanted to somehow hurt himself so Jooin would feel bad for him but decided against it because it was already too late. Only in these two chapter Yahwi finally accepted his defeat, it was only two chapters where we saw real development.

And no worries, let discuss this without insults and disrespect. I like when there's discussion without fights :)

    Agree actually.
Yahwi quiet literally r@ped Jooin, treated him like some kind of prostitute. Even when Jooin gave him a second chance, dude didn't change and never once stood up for his partner.
Honestly, people say they can forgive him cause "everyone makes mistake" but your "mistake" should not equal to "R@pe", assault, ect. Those are crimes lmao

honestly it's quite surprising to me how this is an unpopular opinion. seems a lot of people, here on this site and outside of it, forgive and forget so easily.
