I also find him very aggravating! However I understand why he didn't stop him from breaking up..I mean once someone wants to break up with you there is really nothing you can do to stop them, no matter how much you love them....
Yeah, I guess when you put it that way, it makes sense.... The way he just dealt with it seemed so nonchalant to me, it really pissed me off ._____.
I thought the same....yet if I were to take his side, I'd say that he isn't really expressive. So even if he might not be doing anything apart from being with Iori, he never says anything about it. Cuz it didn't actually seem as he was messing around outside of his relationship with Iori. But he was a jerk to say that their relationship was nothing but convenience (in the beginning) and not be honest with himself. In the end, Iori says to break up and it's not like he can do anything about it. As redemption, I guess you can also say that he can tell that Iori is happy with Mukai, so stopping him would make things more complicated. I mean, who doesn't want to see the person you like happy, even if you are not the one beside them. I would also say the manga was a bit rushed, which made Shousuke even more of a jerk, since it just made him pass by the break up like nothing happened.

Yeah it was a horrible relationship. He would only see me when it was convenient for him and claimed that he liked me when I was ready to move on. That's why I was really happy to see Iori end up with a guy who treated him well and actually cared about him. This mangaka did a great job of promoting healthy relationships :)
I just took it at face value. A jerk who would say anything to keep his easy lay around. The story is way too short to make it more complex than that.

I mean he got jealous when Iori was approached by someone else and ignoring him an then he tries to do him and so that he doesn't resist says "Don't leave me, I love you." . What a mofo of a jerk.
