Also, it's like they tried to do the trope where they portray a character as an awful or evil play boy who doesn't care about anyone's feelings, so we the audience don't sympathize with them as much. Except Hayami never did anything wrong as far as we know. He engaged in casual relationships but he appears to have prioritized his partners' experience and made sure they had a good time both on dates and in bed. He's shown to cut people off when they want more of a relationship, but that's his prerogative. Plus, it seems like he was very up front about how he's only interested in casual and surface level relationships, so it's not even like he was blindsiding or leading his partners on

EXACTLY! man, i was so annoyed the whole time. especially when he practically forced it on hayami a lot of times in the office, like?? it’s pretty obvious that hayami takes his job seriously and doing it to him at work it just the worst. it’s like he’s not taking hayami seriously even at his job. honestly naruse was so much respectful, they way he waited just for an answer and this dog here was saying “until you fall in love with me, i’ll make love to you” the fucc? excuse me? unbelievable.

I always feel kind of silly typing up paragraphs about comics like these but I also find it really fun so I do it anyways lol
I just really hate how when Hayami is saying no or refusing, he's practically treated like a child who's throwing a tantrum because he doesn't actually know what he wants or is good for him. Like, no, he wants to have a consensual sexual encounter that accommodates the desires of both parties, he's not a kid saying no to eating veggies.
And then there's Ryu who is a piece of shit and the one time he actually decides to use his words instead of just assaulting Hayami however he wants, he still has to literally PIN HAYAMI TO THE BED before he does.
