Yeah. It's like characters can't even have a simple strong, platonic connection anymore without someone pushing them as a couple. Who knows what will happen in the future? If they do turn out to be a couple on down the line, then okay. But right now, we don't know exactly what the nature of their relationship is, other than TM and possible apprentice....or at least that's how I was looking at them. TM has grown weary of the humans after a century. I feel like the kid might be the light to his darkness, as far as showing him that there is still good in humans, regardless of their shortcomings as mankind as a whole.
Exactly. Why not see the apprentice as the beacon of light and hope for TM. A new chance to see there is still hope for humans that's there is not only despair. No one has ever made him want to give humanity a second chance due all the things he has seen before. Honestly It's so freaking pure. Why are readers are not giving them a chance as characters who will grow into a better versions of themselves with each other's help instead of just a potential couple with only motto of finding a dark corner to make out only. People are getting used to seeing characters jumping on each other they forgot there is something called connection
Maaan you said what I was trying to say but SO much better. What you said was perfect. I agree. People are jumping on the bandwagon too soon. I like to see how certain things will play out because I've been wrong plenty of times. Plus, we dont always need a romantic couple. Sometimes, a friendship and or companionship is enough and push a SL or its elements a long distance. Not knocking anyone who is questioning them as a couple or sees them as a couple. All I'm saying is...let's slow down and just enjoy the story thus far. Like OP said, there was so much stuff that happened in the first two seasons and with this season, we're getting some loose ends tied up and some questions answered. I'm loving what's happening so far and despite Wolf's horrible father and his disgusting deeds, I feel like the Dragon might be kinda proud of the humans. And I'm rooting for them so that the TM can see that there still is some good there. I cant remember the kid's name, but I'm looking forward to his journey with TM.
Exactly like if there is a manhwa with side couples and side characters you gotta understand that they also have stories of their own. Why not let them be main characters of their own life. Especially with this story, wolf didn't become king on his own, he exists cuz of his make, shin and shin wouldn't have been able to do everything on his own. He needed all the pieces of chess to beat that previous excuse of a king. He needed Duke and so many others that we didn't know the name of back then but as the story progressed we got to see the glimpse of them too. Which was a fulfilling feeling. I do wanna see where TM and the apprentice go with their story. Why must everyone think there has to be a romantic plot for them to be happy and even IF there is am sure it won't happen anytime soon. There could be a time skip to the princess becoming the king. Let's see where it goes
