I get where Harper is coming from but he's selfish, Adrian is wallowing in self pity because the love of his life and everyone else he ever loved died because of his power and I think it's fine to deal with your trauma in your own way and Harper was helping get through it, you can't act like Adrian is being pathetic when he spent Centuries fighting and losing loved ones, like sorry he's not cheerful and smiley all the time.
He did not use it for good when he read Adrian's thoughts and then used that to make him happy again, that's using private information that he was not given, he took it, not with ease either. He said he has to try harder to read his mind. He used that information and uses it to get the desired reaction from Adrian.
but using his abilities to help people and that being wrong to him is stupid, he helps people as a influencer with his abilities sure he may not like all the people he meets bc of it, but who would, knowing everything about them, he uses he's abilities for good, and that will never be wrong or good enough to use in an arugment against someone with the same abilities and they BOTH DIDN'T TELL EACH OTHER, the ML never told him about them, he just told him he knew, not the same, so I just hate the fact that he used what he did for good against him like wtf I'm sorry he's not willeying in self pity and hating himself for having them bug actually helping people with them, bring that up was literally a dick move.
