More like searching for manga is a game/quiz show to me xD Well, I've got 500 manga on my "to read" list, but sometimes I just don't feel like it... I should go to sleep, but i'm sick and have a fever and don't wanna ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Oh, but are you from Canada? Is it French then? English is not my mother tongue either btw xD
Yeah, its french (Canada absolutely) ^^ What are your mother tongue? Me, I don't put the manga in my ''to read'' section even if I have some in, I put them in my favoris ^^ And yes, too much it's a little like too less... I click on one and decide if I read after read the summary and look the note voted. Now I read Loveless (at first look, the anime didn't really tease me a few month ago)
I asked, bc some ppl put a different country from their own, even though I recognize your flag xD
Mine is Polish, not very useful if you ask me, you can only use it in Poland (and among Poles who live abroad, but that's about it).
Oh God, I love Loveless! (as you can guess from my avatar xD) Ritsuka is so precious, but manga is much better than anime imo. I don't want to bring you bad news, but most likely it'll never be finished ;___; It's taking sooo long and it's licensed so new chapters aren't uploaded...
soooooo unfair ;.; Yah, I see your avatar x) And I'm absolutely don't what Polish sound like, I'm not even sure have heard that word before. Maybe I would in french... For Loveless I will check on an other scanlation site when the moment will come ^^ (if I had to take an other flag than my own... it's would be Japan xD)
I remember there was a livejournal site that uploaded new chapters of Loveless, but the mangaka stopped drawing it for some time back then. Unfortunately I lost all the data from my old computer so I can't even find this site ;__; Maybe it's for the best, since it caused me insomnia xD
Polish would be le polonais in French, I guess. It sounds a bit like Russian, but Russian is nicer and smoother imo. I'm surprised you haven't heard it, since Poles invade every country... xD
I like Russian too, actually I started learning it, cause it sounds so nice xD But don't be misled, Polish doesn't sound half as nice, it's harsher and many ppl find it unpleasant.
Yay, Russian national anthem is really the best, I also like the German one ^^
I was wondering, bc I used to learn French (but I can hardly introduce myself, so don't get your hopes up xD), is Canadian French very different from French French? (lol) If you know of course, I'm just curious.
They have expressions which are different, but it's kind of almost the same, When I use some of ('cause I watch French youtuber), a lot look me strange... I do not even notice than I use them xD But the thing which are really insupportable, it's the Quebec french. The ''accent'' don't bother me, but the prononciation of some sound, the patois, swear, are really.... I don't like. That's the height of one who lived in the Quebec and speak WELL french. French are beautiful and they just spoil that (they even use just simples words and don't use the so much big vocabulary we have). That's depend to the region too. I think the French in the rest of the canada (the must of us are in Quebec thought) are better in the majority...
There are still people without much education elsewhere ... (say without scorn). So yeah it's kind of similar. We are the same dictionary, the same root and we did all we want with the language, Canadian and French. And both of us use a lot of Anglicism. Hope your curiosity are satisfied ^^
Yeah, pretty much, thank you xD Although to be honest I'm not very good with French (or rather I'm hopeless, it's really really difficult to me), so I wouldn't see the difference probably. I heard that in Quebec they speak in a strange way xD (no offfence), but never had a chance to hear it.
One more thing - about 80 (and 90) - do you have a word for that or like the French you multiply 20? ^^ I'm curious, bc in Belgian French there's actually a word for this number from what I've heard and seen. Idk if they use it, but they have it.
you mean eighty and ninety? It's the basis, so yes, in french we all say ''quatre-vingt'' (in English that make four twenty, strange one...) ''soixante-dix'' (70, in English sixty ten, weird) and ''quatre-vingt-dix'' (four twenty ten, four time twenty plus ten...). Its really odd when I have to explic like this x) Cause we don't count in our head, it's just how we call the number in himself. For say, I never thought about it more than that. Well, Quebec speaking are weird, and so much are proud of it...at my side I'm a little disgusting when I think to much. Everybody found it strange, no problem. Good luck for your french learning if you want to persevere in ^^ You d love that language for want to learn?
Heh, I know it's the basics, but I always wondered why is it like that xD And Belgians have nonante for 90 and septante for 70. I checked it and it were the Swiss who use octante (80). ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Well, I mean, it's normal for you, but for ppl who learn French it's a tad weird xD But every language has it's curiosities.
When I was at school I didn't like French at all to be honest ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ I thought it sounded nice, but there was no way for me to learn it, no matter how hard I tried. The grammar was killing me, honestly. I prefer e.g. Latin or English. But know I think about giving it another try. Well, I'm learning Russian for time being, it's my priority right now, but French would be good too. But it's like one of the hardest languages to learn (only Chinese is harder imo xD). Not only the grammar, but also the pronounciation is difficult. There's no way a foreigner can master it.
Does anyone know the title of the yaoi Manga with the PE teacher having a leg fetish on this one student? The uke likes to run, kinda like a track student. Help me ㅠㅠ
