Well they’re children and she also a prisoner so they don’t see her as much of a threat like the kidnappers and she also proves to them that she was selfless and cared about their safety instead of her own since she was willing to be the bait so they could go free without her. Plus who really wants to read probably 4 chapters worth of the beastmen learning to trust her while they’re trapped by kidnappers and slave sellers. I don’t mind a slow pace story but not if it’s too slow with side characters that won’t appear a lot in the story.
We all know very well they will appear in every single frame of the story after this, in every single panel possible and not possible. That's what always happens. They will hug her every time she appears, they will be jealous of her lover and vica versa, they will be her kids now and everyone in the story will love them. That's what always happens! Always! ╥﹏╥
Well that’s kinda understandable and logical due to the fact that she the only human they learned to trust and love. So they will automatically be territorial about her not to mention how they’re beastmen so their animal instincts will kick in. But i get what you mean it can be annoying sometimes especially when it seems rushed
Not the catboys and catgirls who will see her as their "family" after half an hour of knowing her, why would you even do that
