but you also have to understand that fiction is, at the end of the day, fiction. yes, there is a certain expectation that we want from authors. we want stories that do not glorify SA and rape. it's not weird to read fiction that has SA or rape because in real life, most of the readers on here, no one actually tolerates that shit or at least that's what i want to believe. you'll see the same sentiment in the comment sections of the mangas, manhwas, and manhuas that there is rage when there is an involvement of SA and rape. specifically looking for rape and SA in fiction IS what's weird. at the end of the day, what you read and what you don't read is purely up to your discretion. a stranger on the internet can't force you what to read and what not to.
Yes and I don't have to understand any of yall shits, hahahah jk jk jk, but I'm not someone who comment on BJ alex and rage about r@pe on every reply about liking that webtoom lol , I don't do that as long as they don't enagage talking to me why r*pe is actually not a big deal and I'm just too vanilla, I also read stories with r*pe but Idon't defend them with 5 long essays.
It’s not even about us not reading or whatever its that’s people have romanticized is so damn much to the point that literally every popular manga manwah manhua has rape/Sa and abuse and that’s what’s fucked up.If you can shame those weirdos that be watching hentai with minors and rape then idk why you can shame people who read BL with rape and sa and abuse.
You shouldn’t be romanticizing shit that be happening in real life and making it sexy. PEOPLE GET OF BY THAT (getting horny)and that is what makes it even weirder.
The reason I’m saying this is because there’s always a good story line in those types of stories but they always kick in the rape and abuse like come on. AND ITS ALWAYS FOR LIKE 50 chapters the rest of 10 chapters is them healing.
that's why i said even though r*pe and sa are still prevalent in the bl genre, there is a huge chunk of the demographic that calls it out. if someone gets off to r*pe and sa, then that's wrong. looking for r*pe and sa in works specifically IS the weird thing. we WANT authors to not contribute to the r*pe culture by romanticizing them in their works however, if you happen to read a story that has those themes, its up to your discretion whether you want to proceed or not. i, for one, have dropped a few series but it doesn't mean i've dropped ~all~ of them. i don't think i've said anything contrary to what you've been saying.
Today I found out how some Bl fans are actually crazy (fought someone because they told me not to shame someone that gets turned on with rape/abuse mangas) I pray for those readers
