If I remember correctly he was initially intrigued by the bunny because of his attitude and his boldness, and then he liked something about the way he cried or how desperate he seemed, I think he mentioned noticing how the bunny was using him as a way to self harm and how he didn’t care initially but something about how hard he was trying or something? I dunno but yh some odd shit intrigued him but the nail in the coffin was the audacity of the mc to leave cash on the side for him, that’s what had him looking for the bunny for years (although now that I think about it, him being able to sleep and notice him leaving may also be the reason) but yh, there were rumours that he had been looking for the mc, some saying it was his type or missing lover, while others talked about he was looking to pay-someone-back… so yh one or all of those things is it… although that still seems pretty flimsy when put in writing it’s basically he fell in love at first fuck!! Like really and truly!

Jay has a hard time empathizing with anyone. It's a personality quirk/flaw of his. The first time Jay encountered Yoohan dressed as the mascot rabbit, it happened to be the same day that Yoohan had scattered his mother's ashes (she lived something like 3 months on life support- she was already brain-dead). With the rabbit head mask on, Yoohan finally released his emotions over losing both his mother and little brother (which his blamed himself for) while purposely having painful sex with Jay. Jay could tell he was crying under the mask, and for the first time his heart was touched and he felt sadness for someone else. He wanted to hold onto those feelings and to the person who provoked it, but Yoohan ran off, after striking Jay and throwing money at him.
Jay became obsessed with finding that person again. He met Yoohan five years later, not knowing he was the rabbit. He was still searching, but meanwhile as he got to know Yoohan, he suspected this might be yet another who could stir his heart like that. He was overjoyed when he discovered Yoohan was essentially, his long-lost love.
Yoohan has yet to discover that Jay was the man he had sex with on that fateful day. The trauma from that time made him block out the memory

It been so long I’ve forgotten why ML is interested in MC, did he start off wanting to get rid of who ever the bunny was or was that something else I read? And if so or even if not why’s he interested after one night????
