You know… wacko is a good name for him…

Well.... It's not a spoiler but my understanding by reading this


Wacko's other name is Han Jay, and remember people mentioning that the largest Share Holder of Dream Ent. Is held by not one person but a Company that is run by Han Group or Family.

And I'm pretty sure Yoon Jay's the head of that company, that's why he doesn't mind selling his shares to cranky rotten old man, as it also serves the purpose of making the old dude less conscious of Yoon, simultaneously helping Lee Yoohan.

And remember how Wacko said to Taemin that " don't be surprised I plan to loose the first round". I'm pretty sure this is the first round he was talking about.

I know that he said he planned to lose the first round so I did expect him to do something crazy but the way he worded it was what makes him insane to me. “I’m willing to throw away my own company if you beg me for to help you with your revenge ” is basically what he said but it’s so yandere when he says it. He doesn’t seem like the type of man to do anything without getting something in return. Yes, he’s lost the battle to win the war but what does he gain from helping Taemin? Taemin isn’t even putting out so you can’t really call it “sponsoring”. I agree that he’s taking full advantage of both of his surnames but he could have done all of this without getting involved with Taemin or offering to help with the revenge. Even if I was madly in love with the person and we’ve been married for 27 years, I wouldn’t give up my career or company or job for them if it was an emergency let alone sell my company away just if they ask me nicely to. Chaebol kids don’t usually work hard for their company shares so selling in that case wouldn’t matter but jay isn’t like that. He works so hard that he doesn’t sleep for his companies. He’s on top of EVERYTHING in all of his companies and he’s basically living a double life on top of that. To sacrifice all of that hard work for a person who isn’t giving you anything in return is just crazy to me. I love Taemin but we all know that he hasn’t done nearly enough to be getting all these favours from jay as his sponsee.

Well it's not sacrifice actually, it's not like he's gonna do that for Taemin's sake either, it's plain old making the person indebted towards you scheme.

Jay already has planned out what is has to do and what he's going to do. But by wording that to Taemin that if you ask nicely and beg me for it I'll sell my shares to help you is mind play on Jay's part to keep Taemin under his wraps, furthermore Taemin's personality won't allow him to ask such favours, Jay knows that too.

Jay showing to Taemin how hardworking he is and how he works for his career and then saying to Taemin that if want I can sacrifice a part of career for you is just manipulation.

Imagine someone did that to you won't you feel for that person (I'm not saying romantically) but you'll feel indebted, find it hard to refuse them, and even if know it's wrong you'll go along with them finding it hard to say no. As somewhere in your head you'd know that they sacrificed their career that was super important to them for you, and the things you feel is wrong or icky is nothing compared to their sacrifice.


Also Jay imprinted on Taemin's head that he doesn't joke about things like this, so even when Taemin does not ask for the favour and Jay does not do it for Taemin, just the sincerity that Jay is willing to do it for him will lead to somewhere where Taemin will develop a spot for Jay where he'll be in no position to refuse Jay.
He's already having a hard time saying no to Jay.


Also, Jay doesn't need Taemin for his plans. At first he kept Taemin by his side because Taemin did not know who Jay was and it was amusing for him and later when he found out that Taemin is the rabbit dude he fucked 5 years ago he's doing all he can to keep him by his side.

Didn't you catch the major change in Jay's behaviour towards Taemin after he found out he's the dude he had shared a night with

That’s why I called him wacko tho. He’s insane. Normal people wouldn’t sacrifice their own career that they built up in order to lock a person down. Normal people wouldn’t employ tactics like this even if they do mean to lose the battle to win the war. Normal people would say “if I win this war for you, give me a reward” and curry favour that way. Both are manipulative but one manipulates into a good light and his method manipulates into a bad light. The reward method is to get the person used to showing affection towards the manipulator and to get the person to associate this manipulator with being helpful. They’ll keep the manipulator around because they are a good asset. This is why people like golden retriever types because they do as they are told and protect without needing to be told but also beg for attention so sweetly that you can’t help but want to spoil them more. By showing a pitiful face, you get more affection and attention. Cats have this method down to a fine art. They even modified their own cries to mimic that of a baby in order to further manipulate us into viewing them as pitiful things we need to protect and to keep. We reward them for good behaviour because we associate them with bad ones. That is all manipulation. But this kind is the one that majority of everyone will use at some point. The way jay manipulates isn’t normal. He ties people down with secrets and lies and when that’s not enough, he uses guilt and self-deprecation in order to get what he wants. When he tries to “act cute”, it’s not to reinforce happy and good feelings, it’s to make Taemin feel slightly unsettled: “why is he in a good mood?” No one sees someone in the office and thinks “why are they in a good mood?”, we feel happy that another person is happy. Jay literally turned a positive emotion uncanny for the sake of this plot he’s created and up until this point, it’s just been his natural disposition as an eccentric guy who’s really high up the food chain so he’s viewed as a different type of person, one we can’t understand. Now, we see that he wasn’t just doing it for his natural quirkiness and the uncanny feeling isn’t because we associate power with stoicism, it’s because he’s manipulating people but in such a weird way. Honestly he feels borderline sociopathic now. What used to be his quirky dark charm is now a real reason to want to run from him. If someone said to me that they will give up their career for me, even as a joke, I’d hightail it out of there. That’s beyond manipulation. That person just isn’t right in the head. This is the difference between tilting the scales in your favour and breaking the scale in order to get what you want. Jay is breaking the scale. I still love his character and the depth of it but if he was real, I would run and never look back. Jay is worse than the sadistic old man because Jay isn’t doing it for sadistic purposes, he’s doing it as if this is as natural as breathing.

Exactly.... You're fine as hell when you're inside the screen but if pop up in real life, i'mma stay 500 miles away from you.
