I believe it was decided mainly by choice like the situation with Erika and how she was an "adam" in the beginning but then decided to become an "Eve" because she actually wanted to be that for Sakura. She never met anyone before that, that made her feel like she wanted to be an "Eve."
Actually Erica was a eve from the start but just was not ready to accept it until she met sakura ..........I hope you don't mind me correcting you and I seriously am not trying to be sarcastic
They're all girls. All of them. All of them are girls. Society isn't going to crumble just because women need to take over male positions, they can still choose to do what they want. And the whole who gets to be an Eve and who gets to be an Adam thing is completely beyond me. I don't understand how they're chosen. Is it body shape? tests taken as a child? Intelligence? I don't get it. It was ok.
