I would suggest reading the novel as well. It’s currently being translated in english. Just a piece of warning, you would definitely hate Lin Yan’s character in the novel at first. You would also have to ready your heart. It’s not an easy read especially the cases that they’re gonna handle in the future. They’re only on their 1st case in the manhwa version, and this one is really heartbreaking,
