If we had Prince Nok's POV this chap, I bet he'd be confused AS HELL with all of what Jae-shin said and his reactions . We only know of Jae-shin's blooming feelings cause we see his POV and thoughts after all. But in reality, it hasn't been that long since he started to act nicer and more considerate compared to his non-con atrocities in S1. They've had calm teasing convos so far, deep convos, affectionate consensual sex BUT it's not like Jae-shin actually told him he wants something more like love. And Nok ain't a telepath. Add to that, he's STILL processing the changes from S1 Jae-shin.
I do believe the Prince is perceptive and will figure some things out after this convo. The Prince needs time for feelings to bloom deeper. But bet Jae-shin feels the urgency cause of the DEATH FLAG.
