Yeah he's a guy, but you forget in the author's world there is no omega,beta or alpha. In this world (with the exception of the person who takes the magic potion/medicine that makes his dick disappear) only women can give birth to children, so essentially the minute that guys dick disappears and he has a womb treated he's a women.
At least in an omega universe The male omega is still acknowledged as a male who can give birth (and still has a dick) and a female alpha is still acknowledged as a female who can impregnate another (and has a dick.... I would like to see more female alphas).
I understand it's probably a psychological thing, take away the guy's dick and he's less likely to get with anyone else and has to depend on that 1 person (A type of Stockholm syndrome). I dont understand. Maybe because its my way of thinking outside of the story, but just because a man can give birth, doesn't make him a woman. Even if in this story’s case they start treating him like a woman, thats just stupid because it legit doesnt make him a woman suddenly. And i think thats also part of the stress of the story because he isnt a girl, hes a guy still. But the other guy did something without his consent and changes just that part of him. In real life, there are trans men, or intersex men who happen to have been born with the wrong genitalia but are still biologically male otherwise. Thats just how i see this as I’m used to it happening in real life, not alpha omega stuff.
