I’ve read it a time ago a Japanese manga with a tragic backstory, I think the world was being taken by a disease or some kind of zombification(?) anyway one of the characters have an unrequited love for the other, they are friends and are together trying to scape, it was quite compelling and at the last chapter they finally decided to be together after some chapters full of slow burn, they made love for the first time and in the next morning one of them had the disease so basically they both died together, since the other one didn’t want to live without him. I swear I was not dreaming and I already tried to search for “zombie” stories and it was none of them, such as Undead or Boys of the Dead. I think I read it at futekiya (but I could be wrong) more than a year ago and it was short and already finished (of course since the story ends making as believe they both died anyway). Please I really wanna remember the name :(
