so i read the spoilers in here and got disappointed especially after reading some of the comments. i don't understand how people were like "ah finally an mc that love himself" lmao shit never made sense to me. sure i get it, when a character was being such a doormat, but yeon oh has never been one. to me when stories take this turn at this point it feels pointless especially if they are gonna be together in the end anyway (that is if they did, if they didn't that'd be sad but maybe not bad actually) ofc i understand where the mc came from if he was a real person, but from a storytelling perspective this is getting tiring imo. its just another subpar kdrama atp lol
(im not saying that the mc has to cave in easily or something like that lol it's just that for me "redemption arc" doesn't always have to have one character groveling and getting rejected a couple of times before finally (and suddenly) worthy of being in a relationship lol)
