I genuinely hate that they made them have a sort of father and son dynamic since he took him in and basically RAISED him since he was his child only to have them be like....this??? couldn't we have just made them past lovers who met when they were a little bit older or something like that????? and y'know they could've also maybe have had like... consensual sex?
