I'm 27 now and I can't relate to high school shoujos anymore hahaha wish there are a lot of college themed mangas but i realize that it's probably because not all japanese go to college

Same I read josei more now. But sometimes you know it’s nice to read these and reminisce. Lowkey does feel weird to see romance between people who are younger than me. When I started reading shoujos, I was younger than them ;-;

I started reading shoujo mangas since I was 11 and now I’m 19 and the way I would have loved this when I was younger. But now that I understand more some things are just icky. Like the ml’s perspective about other girls not including the fl. Like he thinks they are clingy, fake and always hung up on him. You know how the fl is not like other girls. I mean the fl is not a pick me so that’s a relief. Aside from that we got our mandatory chapter four misunderstanding. AND ALWAYS IN THESE SITUATIONS THE OTHER PERSON IS THE MAIN CHARACTER’S BROTHER OR SISTER. Sometimes even mother dude.
