Black hair like red hair since high school, red hair originally felt a sense of superiority bc of that. Red hair had home troubles and saw black hair as a safe space. Bc of That delicate balance of black hair not wanting to ruin their friendship by getting greedy and red hair having commitment issues, it created a gap for MC to come in. He was what black hair needed, always voicing his affection and reassuring him that he loved him, something red hair couldn't do. Red hair did love black hair, but he never admitted to his feelings and it kept leading black hair on to hope for more. Eventually black hair moved on bc he moved on from their toxic cycle that had kept both of them trapped in an ambiguous relationship. I genuinely feel bad for the three of them, but I'm glad black hair moved on and I hope red hair finds some peace and happiness, maybe some therapy lol
