Yeah I can get that. Honestly it's better to think of this as a video games. Where the clothes give you perks, and the attack names need to be said in order to activate. At least it shows that it's not the MC coming up with the cringy names.

I don't know why but the attack names and his dark clothing at the start gives me, what's that word? Chūnibyō vibes. I think that's the correct word. I couldn't find it in me to get past the first chapter out of embarrassment for the names.
