I forget names easily so I will just call them MC (esper) and ML (guide).
MC is an esper who has bad experiences with past guides as they took advantage of him when he wasn't in his sanest mind, so now he doesn't trust any guide and doesn't even want to have one. But his coworker got ML to the scene and now MC wears this lil bracelet with red gem thingy on it. Still, MC does not want to have anything to do with the guide ML.
Stuff happens, light bickering and MC pushing ML away. MC over-relies on pills and is too tough on himself. Despite all that, our ML here is very persistent and helps him out anyway. Also, it turns out they both have 90% compatibility (I think) when it comes to their abilities.
Push and pull is still ongoing of course, but surprise surprise! they were apparently classmates and looks like there was something going on back then but that hasn't been made clear yet :0
In another scene when ML is in a bar with his friend, we get to know that all of ML's lovers have had some sort of similarity with MC in terms of their appearances and our ML has had a crush on MC for quite a long time.
Now more stuff happens and apparently MC had some surgery done in the past before joining this company / agency. It also looks like he didn't have the best experience in his childhood before he got his abilities. ML is curious and digs up stuff with a bit of bribing and still couldn't figure out much because the info is confidential. During another one of their healing sessions, ML notices there aren't any marks on MC's body that might indicate a surgery from the past.
And think that's pretty much all that has happened till now.
