No, cliche does not have a relative meaning. So, yes, she is literally wrong. Cliched is a badly overused plot/theme. Stockholm Syndrome, can't get much more cliched than that I would have thought. And that isn't even going into the rape apologia.

It's not that I didn't like your comment, maybe I was wrong about the part that cliche has a relative meaning, but I think she say that from her own point of view; probably she never read mangas/manwhas with these type of topic and that's okay, personally I already read alot about stockholm syndrome and rape not only in mangas but also in doujinshis and fanfics, but she's not "that" wrong and i'm not defending her.
