oh im not saying he wasnt a good player, he definitely is. But the fact that he made it seem like he didnt need ANY armor or help just sheer player skill to get to where he is now and was making fun of seyoung for not being “as skilled as he is” and relying on equipment when he used it too upset me. And seyoung is also a skilled player, he’s just not as good as heejae due to the difference in experience. becuz, u know, he has an office job, a life outside the game that he has to attend to. Heejae’s job as a longtime streamer only adds to his experience. If Seyoung had the same amount of time(cuz he has the same amount of obsession with the game) i think he would’ve eventually caught up to where Heejae ranks. without his help.
Heejae acknowledges this when he recognizes that “sesam” is not a new player, and when he grows manically happy when he is surprised by seyoung in combat.He’s even surprised that by seyoung’s equipment, because judging by “her” playing, the equipment should by more advanced. He saw potential in seyoung and decided to force him to level up after his office job(which woulda pissed me off as well, but seyoung obviously loves the game enough to agree to torture like this)

heejae was probably just trolling, making good content for his edgelord strem videos, i wouldn't say “judge“ in a way that he actually looks down at people who relies on expensive equipments, but more like just a fun way of teasing or messing with them. it's not like he had this superiority complex that is similar to this league of legends meme that says, “skin, with no skill”. it's basically looking down at people who buys expensive skins in league but can't make up for it with their gameplay. aside from the first chapter, i don't there has been any situations where he displays such behaviour, where he judged people for their items (unless i missed it).
i also acknowledged seyoung as a good player, just pointing it out there unless you think otherwise.
lastly, i really do not get what you're upset about since i don't really think it's that much of a big deal? i'd tell you to relax again but each to our own, i guess. i have no malicious intent, i'm just saying that i genuinely don't get it. i already typed a paragraph explaining my side over a bunch of pixels, i'm ending my reply here since i don't want to start a debate with you here. i'm glad you're passionate about the things you enjoy, this manwha i'm assuming, but i just hope it doesn't raise your blood levels too high. take care ┐(´ー｀)┌
oh no, no debates needed, im good, i just love to react extravagantly in generous paragraphs to manhwa/manga chapters in general. especially if a chapter/character made me feel something for real. like a real, visceral reaction. there’s not a lotta people irl that i can discuss these things with so i often write a lot when i get super passionate.
