When you talk about this so-called “realism,” let’s not forget that going back in time and having your consciousness as an adult in your body as a child is totally unrealistic. So the whole premise is fantasy, thus the adults forgetting he’s 5 (now 6) can also be within that realm. I don’t read this story while seeing it as a realistic/unrealistic situation. I see it as a unique fantasy-type story that’s really interesting, very cute, heartwarming for the most part (so far), and shows snippets of the real world—not reality as a whole.
I love this but it seems like everyone's kinda forgetting the kid is 6 lol. They’re treating it like it’s normal for a 6 year old to be able to read entire scripts and decide everything for himself without discussing with him parents. Still amusing read and the pacing is really well executed tho just extremely unrealistic lmao
