I'm guessing it's bc of the nobles that supported the old guy?? I don't think the nobles would believe what a, like, 2-3?? would say. The nobles would be against it and they had to catch the old guy off guard or he'd erase evidence. Just my guess tho

I know she is just a kid, a baby, but why didn't she tell them what's going on with raciel?, she can talk, she doesn't have proof, however anyone could hear what she probably wanted to tell them in her own way or help her in a wide way since they'll be adults
