I still remember a particularly egregious case of biphobia I read back in high school, a gay romance novel that was CLEARLY written by a woman who only read yaoi manga (cringe), and at the very beginning the MC was cheated on by his Bi partner in an outrageous way--as in, MC caught him having sex with a woman when he came home early with food, and bf was like "Sweet, pizza!" and totally wasn't acting like he was doing anything wrong. And when the MC was like "WTF are you doing?!" the bf was like "I have nEeDS that can't just be satisfied by YOU, I'm bIsEXuAL, I need a relationship with bOTh. You understand, right?" And I was FLABERGASTED at the audacity of this author! Like, open relationships and polyamory are okay if you COMMUNICATE about them first and agree--CHEATING is not the same thing, and being Bi IN NO HUMAN WAY makes you automatically poly due to your fucking "nEeDS" (╬￣皿￣)凸 I was SO mad, lol
urgg what a fucking turn off. I hate authors who don't have any knowledge about LGBT community but still decide to write about it to please the straights like come on DO BETTER!
