yenpress is two volumes behind but their slow release time comes from the fact that they wait for physical copy print before they release the digital version. I think if they just realesed digital as is, the discrepancy between the two would be too big or sth? But yeah it takes like 6-12 months for the print which makes their releases feel so dang slow (*꒦꒳꒦)
Just a heads up for anyone waiting for a quality translation, vol 4 of the official english translation is coming out on march 19 2024, it's serialised by yenpress and the official title is "The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter"(yes really), digital volumes cost like 7$. It seems like we get one volume every year, but I honestly would rather wait especially since we already got a taste of the official quality and the unoffical tls don't really measure up to it. I still think the person that trolled vol 4 was really stupid, since why would you make a bad translation of a volume that doesnt even exist yet? How would that motivate anyone to buy the official if it's not out for another few months? Just silly.
