Well, to begin with Idol are view as 'product' (by the industry) and are mostly well aware of that. It's why this industry is borderline rotten and have many issue. And Fanfic from Fan isn't the most problematic one if you ask me. Not saying that it's all bad but Entertainment industry is far from be all rainbow and sunshine.
