RIGHT? Also, does the egg absolutely have to be removed after they die? Is there not another way to get the egg? Why would a divine beast that does something so horrible be attracted to pure energy?
Couldn’t they just wait for the corpse to rot and then get the egg out of the skeleton? Depending on where you put the corpse it doesn’t take that long

So there's got to be more to it, like you HAVE to kill the father to get it transferred over to you or you have to be devoid of all emotions or something.
I'm not trying to be a jerk but couldn't they all have just become doctors? and just perform an autopsy after their dad's pass to get the egg? Like why was torture the 1st and final option?
