So what if he was a dog in his first life. We saw in S2 that Cain started to relaize his love was no longer loyal and platonic and later at the end of the S2 realized his love for Jooin is not romantic. It's not fucked up. How will it hurt Cain if Jooin chooses him present time? Because his family? I won't deny Jooin might still have lingering feels for Yahwi but we obviously see he doesn't love him as he thought he did, he questions himself about previously. And he knows they're relationship isn't worthy. Jooin has cut off Yahwi but the dude forces his way in dispite Jooin ignoring him. Not to mention they go to college and have the same classes. Now about the false hope, he never gave Cain false hope. He was waiting for him until Ryan called him and then Cain having things undone but not telling Jooin about it. All of them have problems no lie there but it much more, than surface level
Jooin is more like a teenager who can't sort his feelings, who can't make a final decision. I'm not sure why you are getting mad but how did it all start for Cain? It was the memories of his previous life that made him leave EVERYTHING behind to come to Jooin. He was a dog and he saw him as a lovely human/owner. I'm not saying he can't develop feelings for him in this lifetime but if the memory of his previous life didn't exist he probably wouldn't even get drawn to Jooin. I have no problem with a character/creature going after someone they love after reincarnation. What is more beautiful than that? But the "love" feeling is not being portrayed here like it's supposed to be. And no matter what you say, Jooin is not stable or suitable for Cain unless he has a huge character development. You say he rejected Yahwi but the dude doesn't leave him alone. Do you know how you shut a person off completely? You fully ignore them, you don't accept anything from them even a jacket when it's freezing out, you don't even spend a second listening to them let alone hearing their past and excuses, you don't go to their house when they are sick, and you call cops when they stalk you. You say Jooin didn't give false hope but sweetie he asked for time to think about it and during that time he asked for he was still dealing with Yahwi and his feelings. Do you know how you prevent giving false hopes to someone who is in love with you? You tell them I'm currently not over my motherfucker rapist ex and still have lingering feelings I'm trying to sort or I'm not ready for a realtionship yet. You will ask for time when you are going to actually devote that time to that person not going back and forth and dealing with your inner voices and past love dramas hoping that something will come out of this comparison. I don't want us to argue over some fiction characters. Just know that people like Jooin DO hurt people like Cain and I'm not saying Jooin shouldn't end up with Cain because I want him with Yahwi, in fact, they all need different people to move on and heal
"memory of his previous life didn't exist he probably wouldn't even get drawn to Jooin" that is true but that's part of the story, we can't get mad at that. That's the point of his story, it's the subplot and look how things are turning out now, even with the title, ot seem to be at least a main point with the story.
"But the "love" feeling is not being portrayed here like it's supposed to be" okay I understand that ig we can see it differently since it's not shown to bring the meaning at more focus. Because we mostly see it from Cain not Jooin.
"You say he rejected Yahwi but the dude doesn't leave him alone" this I will disagree on Jooin has been avoiding him many time but it is Yahwi who forces his way in every time Jooin avoids him and how Yahwi keeps dropping his backstory to him. Plus with them going to college and having the same classes too, they're bond to run into each other. But yes I do see some aspects to what you mean.
About what you said about false hope, i agree with you on some points. Jooin himself doesn't fully even know how he feels because he avoid them so he would he would get hurt not realizing it hurt the others. Jooin doesn't realize he has lingering feelings but I think he was ready to move on despite it but as you said it wasn't fully sorted out which lead to him not knowing what he wants. He needed to close one door before opening a knew on. Thank you for that perspective.
Also I apologize I didn't think my comment sounded rude
Oh nah, you're totally fine babe. Everyone can think of a story in their own way and we all have different opinions regarding different matters, especially when it comes to love and relationships. At the end of the day who cares? I wouldn't want my comment ruin someone's mood just over something like a fictional story. Sorry if I said something I shouldn't have (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
My heart hurts for Cain but baby you were a "DOG". Your feelings for your owner in your previous life was not that kind of love and no matter what you can't sacrifice everything for someone who doesn't even behaviorally represent that person in the current lifetime. This shouldn't even be considered as a love triangle since every single character is better off alone and with someone else. Even if Jooin chooses Cain it will hurt Cain so I don't get why some people are anticipating that ending. Instead of seeing Jooin as a lovely character who deserves the better guy, you should see his level of arrogance and toxicity as well. He made Cain feel like shit so many times, kept implying that Yahwi is using his dead parents as an excuse to get him back, and gave Cain false hope while not completely cutting off Yahwi. Now I'm not saying Yahwi is good or anything, what I'm trying to say is that sometimes you should just let go when it's not working. The author keeps dragging the story to make more money but every single chapter is a boring repeat of the previous one. There is this frustrating loop, where Yahwi regrets and wants Jooin back, Jooin still loves him but doesn't want him and yet doesn't let go fully, Cain loves Jooin because he was his owner in his previous life, and Jooin likes Cain as a person but doesn't love him like he loves Yahwi and still keeps him around in the corner just in case! That's literally the summery of the last 50 chapters or more.
