Wait until you see this next chapter. If they actually get together after this that would be insane. I'm not rooting for this couple at all. It's just an interesting read. Sometimes I like the messy stories even when they are dead wrong. And in this case I thought there was going to be some redemption arc or something. But now I hope there isn't a redemption arc and he just gets what he deserves. He just sucks
The friend sucks too! He’s doing this, he fucked around with the person that hurt his best friend and frankly someone he actually admitted to liking, but felt like he wasn’t good enough for. He helped take care of Suha after he was so broken after different incidences with his Antagonist Dohyeok. It feels like he honestly forgot about everything in the past from the main story that’s why this doesn’t make sense to me. If this was a separate story, I wouldn’t care. I like angst as much as the next person, but this doesn’t make sense as a story for me, and they are both incredibly unlikable imo because of how they tie into the main story. I can’t separate these characters from where they initially were from.
IKRRR you're the only one who's mentioned this. dohyeok is a garbage human being idc he cannot be defended i swear. siwoo would be an even bigger piece of shit if he actually got together with dohyeok after everything he did to suha. like if i found out my friend is dating my ex who fucking treated me like shit i would have to murder them both aint no fucking way bruh. the good ending would be for siwoo to leave and dohyeok would get a taste of his own medicine then goes to seek therapy.
Completely agree. I would have loved the friend to have a side story but with anybody else!! Then it would have been fine angst and all. Anybody but him.
People like the side couple because this is fiction and most people aren’t here for proper green flag relationships but “tea” and “interesting” stories to read. Somehow, it is almost always more intriguing to read stories about incredibly flawed and evil humans because the way they think and act are just so unhinged it’s what makes their relationships with others incredibly…not normal which translates to being unique and “new.”
No one would cheer this couple on if this were real life because red head literally embodies a red flag and should be in jail along with his brain and that shitty grandma. And if we’re going to talk about therapy, all FOUR of the main casts need it. So yeah, everyone knows none of these characters are genuinely good people (yes, not even the two main pairing jiwoon and suha because no, they are NOT green flags either), but we read it anyways because it’s entertaining.
Yeah I agree the main couple is DEFINITELY not green but character wise with the best friend this shift didn't make sense to me considering how involved he was with Suha, but flawed characters be flawed ig I can see if people look at it as a fucked up mess and enjoy it that way, that makes sense to me. I just hope when it ends next week it ties up loose ends atleast. Ty for explaining:)

I'm asking this sincerely...how do people like the secondary couple? The friend was there with Suha all through the entire situation with the toxic ex. He knows how awful he was he saw the physical and emotional damage. How can he be with Dohyeok? Like does Suha find out? That'd be so traumatizing and would feel like a betrayal, no? Or is Suha not a factor in this when both parties of the side story only met because of the damage Dohyeok did to Suha. I just needed to get it off my chest and ask because this couple really doesn't make sense to me or why people like them if they know what Dohyeok was like in the main story.
