Well you see he has enough power to find out what's happening to fl like how he is finding out about all these mistreatment after his memory loss. Also if fl is the enemy's daughter then isn't it only right for you to keep an eye on her but wtf did he do? He is so shitty and unqualified he would not be able to tell if fl was served poisoned in his very own house. It's like watching someone get bullied but you ain't doing anything except for watching and if that person tries to ask for help you just shove them aside. He should just abandon his title and live as a commoner! I really see nothing wrong with fl's father trying to devour his house. 1] He is unqualified. 2] He can't keep his subordinates in check... lmao the audacity of those to not tell him things regarding fl or even the severity of it. Even if he ordered them not to tell anything regarding her it was still very inhumane. This shows his incompetence through and through. 3] Being depressed and childish actions due to it, doesn't justify when you own a territory with people suffering in it even tho they support him but in end none of them knows how to be a lord and they are also the very same people who are influencing his actions from his childhood so I am not blaming him too much for being incompetent.
