I do agree. I was kinda expectant since the blondie was described as talented literary and in martial arts... but she's been anything but that...
Mc is also disappointing af... an effing teen assassin from an assassin family... yet... weakass, "morally upright" and lets himself be easily swayed by his classmates... he cant even decide what his priorities are. And he only seems smart because everyone else is even more dumb then him... and it's cringe too...
I was fooled by it being colored but it's really... mediocre manga.
He is still a teenage boy though so like its kinda understandable that he doesn’t wanna live the way his parents do. I don’t think any teen likes listening to their parent’s 100% of the time
Meh... doesn't seem like it tbh. He seems to have nothing against being an adsassin and doesn't seem to want to be a "normal teen" or be all buddy buddy with his classmates. As least in the OG world. In this one tho... asides from information collecting and not spilling to everyone that he's an assassin... his behavior is a big let down. The comic screams 8th grade cringe tbh. The whole I'm a lone wolf better than them but the cold smart strong class beauty is an exception and can come close is very cliché too... this plot... just doesn't seem to have been made by an adult.
Im trying to give it a chance... but it gets worse with each chapter.
I am so so sick and tired of male MC’s who suddenly get involved with a shit ton of incredibly dumb egotistic tsundere girls who keep getting them into trouble. I wish these so-called loner MC’s would pick their “friends” and comrades more carefully instead of just allowing all the weak damsels in distress to follow them around and make a mess out of things. It’s such an overdone trope and every time it happens, it seriously ruins the story. Find better comrades who are relatively equal and useful to you, like that hero-idealistic guy or the “bad” guy who keeps trying to kill the authorities.
Also, the fact that there are no women characters who are anywhere near intelligent or calm enough to battle also speaks of how frickin biased and misogynistic some of these manga are and it’s so sad and disappointing. We’re not asking for badass OP girls. Just stop portraying women as weak emotional baggages who only have the hots for strong guys.
