Isn't a family theme in a long term really repetive and therefore kind of boring? I am not saying that it is bad by any means but if story is planned to reach 100+ch then it can't purely rely on happy/fluff family stuff because after some time it will be observable that the same thing is recycled over and over again. Like there is a limited number of scenarios in this theme, you can do from cold/inattentive parent to loving/caring one trope once. The same thing with miscommunication and somber atmosphere in a family being resolved . The thing I want to say is that even if family theme is tbh one of my favorites (I love stories with it) it is also limiting. So if author is planning to go for longer format of their series it's only natural to go from somewhat limiting theme like family to politics or romance where there is more room for plot to develop and progress. Hope you would not take it as an attack just sharing my unorganized thoughts. p(^^)q

Haha, attack? Honey you just agreed with exactly what I said! Why would I be offended? I 100% agree, though, I do think it is possible to make a family theme work long-term. It's just these cheap fast fashion modern manhwa don't have the quality writing to pull it off.
It always melts into the focus of the romantic subplot which is a big wrong move because it lumps the manhwa in with the truly GINORMOUS category of crappy shoujo romance. And man, I hate that stuff.
Like you'd think considering there is most definitely a million of these pretty little manhwas with exactly the same subplot they'd be inventive or something.
I can already see where this is going, so I’ll be leaving but I just wanna say that in the many manhwa I’ve read, Empress Elizabeth is probably the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen
