You should read the novel. It will explain a lot of things as the story progresses, it will explain the extreme cruelty, bits of what happen after Aelock died.
The start of s2 in the novel was really frustrating. Klopp looking at Aelock’s tombstone and realizing this is not what he wanted, but by the time he realized it was too late.
S2 is already finished in the novel, and it’s really good. It’s not going to be tragic, it’s good. A bittersweet continuation that is satisfying well for me. Check Knoxt, volume 2 ‘All again’
I have never cried while reading manhwa but I bawled at the of chapter 26. Kloff deserved more pain. I have never hated a ML soo much in my life. What the MC did was bad but the pain he went through. Burn in hell Kloff
