Seems I was right and it was a 4koma---should've checked that category on mangaupdate first instead of spending an hour looking through every single pre-2010 manga I could find ORZ
Sorry hope someone knows this one...sounds interesting
So its a shounen ai manga about what might've been a computer club or something involving computers. It was comedic, possibly with 4komas? Anyway the main character who joins the computer club is pretty horrid with them, breaks them instantly. Think his love interest was one of those serious types with glasses or something. There's a student council or club president who's in a relationship with another guy, and I'm certain those two did it at least once.
Any chance any of you remember the name to it?
