I mean of course they might not necessarily be good friends if they take 0 actions and neglect to care about her etc... but if you think about it from the perspective of the dispositional anomalies of overtime and redhead - since they are both VERY self-sustaining and independent women - its understandable they also subconsciously acknowledge pinky as also being self-sufficient.
When you're a self sufficient gal you only tend to think about yourself. Not because you're selfish or anything, just because you're used to taking care of yourself and managing your own problems. Therefore sometimes you think its the norm that everyone can also do the same.
