I’m genuinely baffled by why she’s deciding to put up with her horrible in-laws and partner. She’s constantly telling herself to tough it out for a while, which gives me the impression that she’s aware of how shit they treat her, and from what i remember- she believes that once she marries her partner things will change? But it’s so obvious that marrying him and acting overly nice to her in-laws won't change a thing. She's not painted as foolish or naive, so what am I overlooking? I’m lowkey struggling to empathise with her :’)
