Maybe the wording is wrong so let me rephrase it, a second person who is pining for the protagonist.

Sure
While all of what he did was horrendous and beyond redemption, i wish Pilgyeom had found someone else instead. Love can sometimes be a fuel that can push us towards being the worst that we can be.
This is why i hate love triangle, it always leaves the third party either heartbroken or become an irredeemable monster. But this had such a good story though.
