I feel the most awful for Ami. She was used and abused by everyone here. Taeyong I hated for most of the story, but it was refreshing seeing him finally acknowledge what a terrible person he was and work on becoming a better person. The director was a manipulative, cheating pos. The mom was also a shitty mom (and no, trauma does not excuse how she treated her son).
