By only acts upon his lust, I mean that for when he rapes Taekjoo for the first time.
From what I’ve seen from people who have read the entire novel, Zhenya and Taekjoo never really admit they love eachother. It’s implied of course I assume. They won’t get into a relationship for a while because Taekjoo feels a lot of hatred toward Zhenya after he recovers from what Zhenya does to him.

I promise nothing is worse than what Zhenya does to our gorgeous MC in this story. I see how people are comparing him to Caesar, but he’s so much worse. I’ll say it how it is, Zhenya outright rapes the MC and attempts to murder him. There is drug use, non consensual groping, and much more. It’s revealed that he harbors zero affection for him, and only acts upon his lust. This goes beyond angst, and it’s so fucked up
